Compatibility with heart rate

Hi to everyone.
I'm looking to buy a heart rate sensor to be compatible with my Samsung ativ s.
I want to use it with Adidas mi coach app.
Can someone help me because I'm confused from my web research, and I don't want to waste my money.
Any help will be appreciated....

AFAIK, most Heart Rate Sensors use BT4.0 which means that you might not get it working with your ATIV S.

Thank you for your response mms-PC, but I mean heart rate sensor to connect with my ativ s for instant and continuing heart rate measurement while I am jogging..... Thank you anyway .
