Well done by the WP team. Everyone should have the option. I personally don't want 3 Columns unless I'm on a 1520, but I'll try it and might like it on a 4.8" or 5" screen.

If only 8.1 gave us the option to turn off the always on cellular, wifi, battery logo at the top of the screen.

It was already confirmed by microsoft after build conference here: Cortana (yes!) and Many, Many Other Great Features coming in Windows Phone 8.1
