Confirmed :Weather Apps and Livescreen are the culprits

Ever since I removed live lock screen and weather app , My Phone is getting amazing standby time and somewhat better battery life.

I have to say that the increase of battery life is around 20-30% easily.

Which weather app were you using? The lock screen also shouldn't eat out a lot of battery, I know this coz I am developing a lock screen app and the usage is very minimal ... suprising

for my aunt it was some crappy at&t preinstalled apps running in the background. got rid of them all and her battery seems to be acceptable now.

I am using Amazing Weather HD right now as a Tile but not using it for lock screen anymore.

I previously used Bing Image + Amazing Weather HD Combo for lock screen , Ever since I put static Wallpaper , I get longer battery life (especially far better standby time)

Removing Weather App also gives me slight gain in battery life (perhaps due to cut off of hourly updates) but not noticeable.
