Considering picking up a WP7, some questions

Alright, so I know it isn't exactly known whether or not WP7 devices will be able to upgrade to Apollo, but assuming none of them can, will apps developed for Apollo still run on WP7? In other words, will they have the same app store? I don't really know how this works on other platforms, I'm assuming each app has a minimum OS version requirement to run, will this be the same? How do Windows 8 (RT) tablets factor into this whole thing? Do they share apps with WP8? and is WP7 is completely separated from those two?

There is no way for anyone to really answer your question at this point in time. Not enough is known about what will happen to current devices once Windows 8 is released. All we can do is speculate give you our thoughts.

One thing is for sure the Windows Marketplace has the ability to screen device and exclude app that are not compatible.
