Quick update after a couple of weeks: For me the device replacement solved almost all issues and not any firmware / software update. I didnt matter on which OS version I was. It was purely the hardware.

Same here. Just got back from my winter holiday (in Mexico ) and my replacement 950XL was waiting at the shop for me to pick up. Set it up yesterday and not had one reboot.
