Constant switching between 3G and 4G after the 1308 update

After updating my phone my connection keeps switching between H and 4G on a constant basis. And it's draining my battery faster than usual. This didn't happen before the 1308 update.
I set the highest connection speed to 3G, but that didn't change anything. Did anyone else experience similar problems?

Check out the sticky thread on the main page. There were a lot of people experiencing this with the 1308 update. There has since been a new firmware released so check your phone for the update.

I thought that thread was specific for AT&T, but I should have checked it first anyway.

So, apparently the 1314 update is the only way to solve the problem. Unfortunately it's still not available in my country it seems.
