Copy and Paste not working on Facebook

I have been having a problem with Facebook in the new IE for Windows 10 where I can't copy and paste any text into any field on the site. Doesn't matter if I Use ctrl+c and ctrl+v or right click context menus it refuses to recognize that I have anything in my clipboard to paste. Go to another site or window or program and the issue goes away, it is only Facebook that has this problem. Has anyone else encountered this and if so have you found a workaround?

A workaround for copying text from a Facebook post on a Windows PC is:
- Display the post
- Right click anywhere on the page (outside the text post is fine, choose a blank area)
- Select "Select all"
- this is selecting everything on your HTML screen, pics, text, the lot (yes, a bit clumsy)
- Control C - or right click anywhere in selected material and click 'copy'
- Go to Word (or other text editing app)
- Control V (or other paste means)
- In Word - select just the text you want and put it on the clipboard (or delete all the material you don't want, if you intend saving the word doc)
