Cortana and Emails?

Can Cortana read "Connected Emails" in an Outlook.com account?

I have added my email from home and it is showing up in the web outlook.com but Cortana never says I have any email.

Should the connected account be a New folder or Import into existing account?

Just to close this out so to speak..

I set up an new email with an address of outlook.com in my Microsoft Account and now Cortana reads them.
