Cortana and the daily routine

Cortana hasn't shown anything under daily routine for weeks now. I usually have location off, but it didn't used to be an issue when I turned it on and off. A couple months ago I turned the daily glance off and on, but I noticed later they wouldn't come back. News and weather works fine. I've turned off Cortana, deleted the data, reset my interests in Bing, and it won't work. The other day I was able to get it to show a calendar reminder, but as soon as it was over, nothing shows up, like the daily weather/calendar/news, and it hasn't shown any of my other calendar events, even those with locations. Is there anything else I can try?

Since you have already tried all the obvious stuff, you could try and perform a soft reset. But tbh, I doubt that it will bring it back to life. A hard reset on the other hand will certainly fix it. But since that has quite a lot of downsides, I'd still try the soft reset first.

Well, I finally decided to do a hard reset today and it didn't fix it. I did use a backup, so I don't know if that's the problem. It reinstalled all the official apps in addition to mine. Cortana doesn't show the daily glance stuff, but will show local news when I choose that.
