Hi all,
As many of us watch and follow the World Cup in Brazil day to day, we search for various news feeds and live scores sources to keep us up to date at all time. I was happy few days ago, when I noticed that after asking Cortana "What is the score of Brazil and Cameroon?" and "What is the score of Croatia and Mexico?", she added the live scores to my front page and said that will keep me up to date for changes in the score. However, I found some problems, which I am not sure if are related only to my device:
- Cortana doesn't notify if a goal is scored (In the interests you can turn ON - Score updates; Notify me about score updates;
- The live tile shows only the teams playing, but not the score.
- Cortana doesn't update the score at all if I am somewhere within Cortana
I suppose fixing the above issues would make the sports enthusiasts experience with Cortana much better
What I can suggest for further improving the sport experience (Football):
- Show the name of the goal scorer
- Add "World Cup", "European Cup", "Champions League" and "League Europe" to interests as independent ones, not only teams. That would simplify the process by asking "follow World Cup" or "Update me on the World's Cup live scores". I don't know if is possible to add specific country league, but would be great.
I hope that the Cortana dev team took into account that Football is very, very popular and important among Europeans. As Bing team early mentioned that Bing is going outside of US, including Europe, improving the Sports UE would make big difference..
