Cortana Chinese notification appear in US setting of cortana

As we know Cortana have a Chinese version so called "Xiao Na". Here is the question, since I'm from Malaysia, and I want to use the Cortana so I set my phone country to US, but format is English(Malaysia), all just work fine and have both US and Chinese keyboard setup. But I just receive a Chinese notification about "Happy April Fool..." from Cortana, so how and why it'll show the Chinese notification if I'm using US version of Cortana? This kind of thing also happened to my other device Lumia 830. I'm a Chinese, so is ok for me to receive the notification, just curious. Is anyone know the reason for this?
