Cortana chit-chat about Siri - Inside joke or Cortana mispronunciation?

This is simply out of curiosity. Since I've never used iPhone, I don't know if this is an inside joke on Siri, or if this is a mess-up on Cortana's part: If you ask Cortana what it thinks about Siri, one of several answers it has for the question is "I think it's cool that she's out there trying to make people's lives a little easier." Except that Cortana is pronouncing "lives" with a soft i, so like livs. As in, "the fish lives in the sea".

Is this a jab against how Siri pronounced the word "lives" or is this simply an unfortunate mispronunciation by Cortana? :grin:
