Cortana didn't ask me any question at the beginning

I'm from India so I just changed the region to US and got cortana but she just asked me for my name and nothing else at the beginning. What's wrong with her??

What more should she be asking?
First thing to do is to set the name.

Apparently Microsoft has some server side issues that prevent Cortana from connecting for the initial setup. She won't try again unless you reset the device. Hopefully, Microsoft will fix this soon and might give further instructions to solve this problem for your device. Please also refer to:
