Cortana doesn't even say my name :(

I have added my name to Cortana settings. When I say hello Cortana it just says Hello or Hello there. Is this the way its supposed to behave? I'm not quite sure, even though its in alpha, these are basics that you address someone by their name.

Not even in beta. She says my name only when asked specifically, 'Who am I?' Otherwise, no.

As someone (idk if its talderon, belfiore or marcus) stated, it is designed that way for a reason! And you can expect that to change in future.

It works for me, although occasionally it will just say hello, hello there, or what can I do for you.

Why do you need to ask who you are?

That is what my point is and Lance's also. She should say my name when I say hello to her, but she doesn't.

The UK version of Cortana doesn't have half the functionality of her U.S. counterpart. Everything I try results in a Bing search, except the weather.
