Cortana doesn't speak but shows her answers in text.

While asked about something... She just displays the text as answer but doesn't speak.I am using Alpha version in India.

There could be a fairly broad range of results you receive from Cortana, a lot of it hinges on how specific your questions are, what interests and info you have linked, and much more.

If you type your command she'll also type, if you tell her your command she'll speak to you...

She only answers a select few questions. Otherwise the results are displayed in text.

Press the mic button,then ask her 'Who is your father?'Then see does she talks back her reply.
