Cortana for Android which was due to be released by end of this month has been leaked.

Here is the link to APK file

<edit: inappropriate link removed>

Currently I don't have any Android phone (die hard Windows Phone Fan).

Can anyone download it and tell the experience? Also, what do you think about this decision of Microsoft?

I installed Cortana on my Nexus 6. It looks and acts pretty much like Cortana on WP in the little bit I've played with it so far. I'm looking forward to running it through its paces and comparing it to Google Now. I am in the United States FWIW.

One thing I noticed: Cortana's voice is very stilted and computerish. It does not sound natural at all.

Installed it on my Passport. Looks a little bare. I don't see any settings to change from Fahrenheit to Celsius. The other than that, these assistants don't do much for me. Just read my incoming emails and messages.

It's cool that it is working on BB as well. I just gotta say that screen ratio really makes me take note. LOL

I just have a question guys, I'm taking this survey from the page to get cortana on my galaxy s5 but when it comes to choosing country should I stick to the country I'm in or go for the US (as the closed beta is China amd US only)

Edit: Never mind I can't see US anywhere lol

Have you ever heard the simulated voice on NOAA Weather Alert Radio?

I believe Cortana is leaps and bounds ahead of that.

I found it and installed it on my Android HTC M8. Its Cortana all right. I know its voice anywhere. :)

Missing audio on Xperia Z, however almost *if not all* Cortana specific functionality is present. Geofencing works really well. Some odd UI choices in the selection widgets, however this will likely change once their app is officially released.

With my experience so far voice recognition and app loading times are noticeably faster on Kit Kat than on WP8.1/W10.
