Cortana is no longer showing me my commute

It finally started working for me Monday morning. I normally leave for work at 8:30 to be to work for 9. Today I got the notification that I needed to leave at 7:30. Not sure what made it send the notification an hour early.

Never mind, I figured out why. I left early for New Years eve and it's basing it off that. I haven't had Cortana long enough for it to get a good sample size.

Since installing the WP 8.1 update through PfD last year, I've had intermittent issues with my daily commute, as previously mentioned in this thread. It didn't give me any notifications for about 6 weeks after replacing my broken Lumia 920, but it has been working fine since late December.

Last night, I saw something I've never seen before. Cortana noticed I go to the same location often and asked if I'd like to give the place a nickname. It happens to be the bowling alley where I bowl once a week. Is this a new feature of Cortana? Has anyone else seen this before?
