Torque is an app for Android wear that gives you Cortana like search results with a flick of the wrist. I use the word Cortana because that's what Microsoft says in the description for the app.

This is kind or surprising to me, because it seems like Cortana is slowly crossing over to other platforms, but under a different name.

Microsoft Releases Bing Torque, Tries To Replace The "OK Google" Hotword On Android Wear With A Wrist Twist. And Bing.

Great, now I have to be careful not to d/l the wrong app. Torque is the app I use to connect to my Bluetooth OBD module for error codes in my cars. Does anyone pay attention to app names already in use?

I use Torque (OBDII diagnostic) as well. And I'd like to try Microsoft's Torque since I have an LG G Watch. I would think Microsoft would've made the name a little different.

Just for s***s and giggles, have you ever tried to trip people out by using a Windows Phone, Android watch, iPad tablet and a Linux laptop? I'd do it but I'm afraid my wife would try to take sole custody of my kid. She'd know I went off the deep end.

Well, I certainly would, but I only have 2 of those at the moment (Windows Phone and Android watch). In the past I had an iPhone and a Linux desktop, but not right now.

I wouldn't have to worry about my wife taking custody of the kids though; she wouldn't want to try it solo. :unhappysweat: Anyway, she already thinks I'm a little off my rocker!

Oh, FWIW, I installed Microsoft's Torque, and it works brilliantly! I still prefer Google's search to Bing, but the twist to open feature is very nice and makes a compelling reason to use Bing.
