Cortana on Lumia 820 in India

Hey guys,
Just facing some problems with cortana here..
Whenever I ask her something ,she searches the web and displays the result,but she doesn't talk to me....if anyone knows how to solve this problem or if there is another thread,please let me know

Do you have your location settings turned off? In that case Cortana will only be doing web searches.

I have my location turned on and my region and language set to US,...is there anything else?
