Cortana only doing bing searches

Having troubles with my 1520 on at&t too, worked fine for a bit but after midnight and today only bing, maybe the servers are having problems with a lot more people getting it.

Yes. This is happening to me. She will respond with voice based on apps (e.g. weather) to things like "Do I need a coat?" but the "tell me a joke" and other ones she is supposed to respond to (I guess) from her server are all just going straight to BING web search results. I would really like to hear if anyone has found a solution. (I am using AT&T 8.1 loaded yesterday on my Nokia 1520.

Hey, mine started to work again just now. So the problem was probably server end.

Having similar problems as well...

Stuff like asking for the forecast, "How much time to get home", "How tall is the Eiffel tower" and generic chitchat yield great results, but asking for the closest gas station, supermarket etc. always brings up bing searches only.

Exact same thing on my end. Cortana worked great at first but only bing results now.

Same problem here... None of the solutions suggested worked (except hard reset that I'm trying to avoid)
