Cortana says something went wrong

My new Lumia 950 cortana says something went wrong all the time. I tried with various settings..region canada and language phone settings..region united states and language English united states.

I've both english (USA) and English (canada) speech installed.

But Cortana's voice never works.

What happened?

I don't know... In my experience, "Something went wrong" is an error message I get when Cortana can't connect to the Internet for some reason.
