Cortana says, somthing went wrong, please check back in a little bit. How can I get it working again?

Cortana says, "somthing went wrong, please check back in a little bit."

Can you help me get Cortana working again. I ask her to tell me a joke or give me the temperature and she, "thinks" for a very long time, then says, "Something went wrong, please check back in a little bit."

Most likely a data connection issue. Have you checked to make sure you have wifi or cellular data on?
