Cortana Transit in UK has gone mad!

I've had Cortana for a while on my Nokia 820. I am now getting the Transit instructions such as "Leave for home now" with a suggested route.

Until last week she was telling me to take buses home ignoring the sensible option to use the train. (Buses would take about 3-4 hours to get home, train takes about an hour).

This week she has the Train data - so I've just been given a route home which include the 17:26 to Brighton and get off at Earlswood station to walk home - whilst the 17:26 does go through the Earlswood Station it's usually doing around 100 mph, so obviously Cortana is asking me to jump off!!! Is she MAD?

Lol. I didn't even know that was enabled here in the UK. I'll have to give it a spin.

Take it this doesn't work if you commute in a car daily? My Cortarna does flash up showing how many miles to home/work and time it will take.

Does it learn the route and offer alternatives if there are roadworks on my normal route?

Not sure how much i could trust it with giving me public transport options!!
