On my Son's new Lumia 1020, he is hearing the Cortana Listening Sound when phone is in his rear pant pocket.
Double tap ON & Sensitivity HIGH also running Glance.
In Window Phone 8, in the search settings you could uncheck "Allow search button from lock screen".
Don't see this anymore in 8.1 version.
Anyone?

Settings -. System -> Speech has an "Allow speech above lock" option. Maybe that is what you are looking for?

Thanks
We both also saw that, can't hurt to try.
I'm thinking that is for speech with Bluetooth myself.

Should it not be automatically disabled when it is in your pocket the same as glance and double tap are?

I use to have my 920 coming on before 8.1. I would turn the screen away from my leg and it would not do it.

This did the trick, tested on my 920 & it works the same as the "Allow search button from lock screen". From version 8.0.

Settings -. System -> Speech -> "Allow speech above lock" worked for me also.

I had a PIN set but she still whistled at me from my pocket every step I took.
