I went ahead and installed the preview on Tuesday, and Cortana was not enabled. So I changed my region etc to US and yay, I have Cortana.
Well next day, something went wrong and I ended up with UK settings again, meaning Cortana went, and nothing I could do would bring her back, I changed everything to US, nothing.
So I ran a system restore and took my PC back to the only restore point available, thankfully was before Cortana broke.
Now I have Cortana back, yay, but strange thing is I also have everything set to UK and no US language packs installed.
