waving your finger around to respond to a messenger like facebook, or twitter is more ideal than having a floating keyboard with both of your hands float typing. it looks ******** that way too, so waving your finger is a must.

It depends on the situation. I imagine myself using it sitting at a table, in which case typing normally would be fine. The rest of the time I'd use voice to dictate messages.
