Create txt file and encrypt

Can someone tell me the best way to create and encrypt a txt file? I've tried a note app that can encrypt notes, but it has a very limited size the note can be. I've had to break up a note that I had on my pocket PC into 4 separate notes in this particular app. This is unacceptable. I've installed a couple of text editor apps but when I create the txt file I can find it using the file manager.

I don't know of any encrypted document app currently available in Windows Phone. I would hope that the big Office update that comes with Windows 10 phone OS would allow us to open, modify and save encrypted Word documents.

you might try boxcryptor, it?s meant to encrypt data on onedrive but maybe it?s what you need.
If you try it please report your expirience.
