Maybe I should have mentioned that charging with the phone powered off is native and not through registry manipulation...

Certain OEMs are doing this. Coship Moly series, for one. I've heard of another OEM, but can't recall off hand.

However, if you install the Interop Tools App, there is a built in tweak that will do this though I have never bothered to on my 1520.

I'm realizing that notification issue crop up overtime... meaning I don't get them This has come and gone for me in the past too... so this build again brings back issues with various notifications not really happening... especially when going to my band2

can somebody report the experience they have had with this build , including aspects of battery , app crashes and freezing issues as on build .82.

so far, this .103 build has be very stable for me. I have not had the apps crashing or freezing (camera app with latest update froze the other day but that has been the only app I have had freeze on me since updating to .103).
Battery life I have not put to a full test to compare between .82 and .103 build.
hope to do that comparison tomorrow as I cannot let the battery go down today (will have phone on charger at the office most the day as I will not be near power source this evening).
I will report back my battery comparison when I do that tomorrow.

It is issue with Cortana in anniversary update, open Cortana settings choose read messages and change from Bluetooth to OFF

This was already off for me. I have messed with it some more, and it seems to only be an issue if I try to play bluetooth audio immediately after starting the car. If I wait a minute or two it seems to work fine.

i am having windows central app issues on comments and notifications. the issue is clearly visible in the SS. build ; 14393.67
notification area stays blank with windows central "banner" after dismissing the news.

The DNG option wasn't there before (.82), Windows Camera has not been updated for a while in the Release Preview Ring. Could be this update?

Had an odd thing happen to me this morning - don't know if it's build-related. I had set up a bi-weekly reminder as an appointment using Outlook Calendar on the phone. Originally, I had set it for Tuesday, then later changed it to Monday. I never got a reminder Monday but, today (Tuesday), I got a reminder. When I tried to dismiss it, it immediately re-appeared. I ended up with 30-odd reminders in my Action Centre before I finally got wise and just swiped the reminder up instead of clicking "Dismiss".

Never saw this before. When I checked the recurring appointment in Outlook Calendar on my PC, there is nothing for Tuesday and the appt for Monday looks fine.

Anyone seen anything like this before? I guess I have to wait two weeks to see if it happens again.

I got that on my 650 (RAW unsupported by HW), that's Camera app updated related , MPX changes only changing format from 16:9 to 4:3

Not a heavy user myself, but I've noticed no difference. Everything is smooth

with this build, Hey Cortana now works. First time in about 6 builds that Hey Cortana works.
had to retrain but that was okay.
Bluetooth going to my Sync3 in Ford Edge 2016 seems to be better and more consistent as well.

Full charge and off Charger at 5am.
no 7 hrs later and at 43%
short game session at home before leaving for work (Hill Climb)
Sync'd to car with bluetooth (some text messages read thru bluetooth and Cortana, a couple of voice dictated replies).
lot of text messages (40 or so), several emails (both incoming and replys going out), couple of short phone calls.
on wifi since getting to office around 8am.

battery seems to be on par with .82, maybe a little better with my usage.

will report back at end of work day and when I place on charger.

I have battery saver configured to kick in at 25%.

I have stopped receiving push notifcations in this build. No whatsapp messages/calls, skype messages/calls etc until I open the app. Wondering whether to do a hard reset, or roll back to .82.

A soft reset (Volume down+power) fixed it. Received all the notifications from last 4-5 days

The issue comes back later on in the day. I get it too.
