Current Flagships and the new OS

Just curious if there is any features that will be available on 8.1 that will not work on a current WP8 flagship (Icon/1520)? I had a 1520 for a month and am having serious withdrawals. I am thinking of picking up another. But with the big update and some scheduled new phones in April, I dont want to but something and regret it in a couple months.

go for it , Lumia 1520 \ icon are still flagship phone by nokia , all the windows phone 8.0 devices will get the 8.1 update with all the features from Microsoft , though nokia will seed another update along with 8.1 , i.e firmware update for Lumia series , and features may vary there. But as of now Lumia 1520\icon will get everything , they are beast in hardware wise :wink:

Im sure the ativ s and se get everything too. My ativ s has more than enough power to run it all. wife former 520 Lumia, not so much. Im sure anything nokia makes besides the 520 should run everything fine too. Its awesome that wp is not resource hog like the other systems out there.
