So anyone have the 1GB data plan on Verizon? I just checked MyVerizon and it now says 2GB of data for 50$ a month. Maybe its their way of saying sorry that the 822 (MIGHT) not get the black + update 3 deal?

No they recently changed their price for each tier so they will match you with what you are paying

So far I haven't seen any changes to my plan at all. Maybe that's a good thing...

It'd be nice if they'd lower my family's prices. We've had Verizon for at least 10 years and we're paying close to $300 a month with 4GB of data and 4 smartphones/1 feature phone. There's really no good alternative for us.

Sure, but we have a North America plan as we go to Canada twice a year (though we can't use data up there) so we'd have to go with the $50 plan, and then it'd be $250 total. And after having Verizon, it'd be hard to go to anything else.

They just rolled out their "More Everything" plan this past week. Hence the new options. I just changed my data plan on their website down to 3GB from my original 4GB. Why pay for data we never use?
