First, as a VZW customer with a shared data plan, my opinion is you are really over estimating the value of datasense but that is not my big concern. The fact that you would attach a whining poor me tweet to a PSA about texting while driving not only will get you nowhere, it also makes the person sending the tweet look self involved and immature. It would be just about as effective to respond to a MADD PSA about drunk driving in a television commercial by saying what really matters is my cable provider charges too much.

1st part...how big is your data limit? Do you have 200mb to use, or do you have multiple GB to play with? Last I checked, the minimum vzw data plan was 1gb shared. So unless you have that plan with 5 smartphones, stfu. If you do have that, then I commend you for not going over your data allowance. I don't know about your financial situation, but when there is 3 days left on your billing cycle, and you get charged another $15 for going over your limit when you are not even using your phone...maybe data sense would've prevented that.

To your second point. If you look at all of my tweets, I correct at&t on one of theirs! They said "stuck in traffic, use your smartphone to let someone in your house.". To which I replied..."just as long as you pull over before you do". Then they changed their tweet to "running late"

So you see, I am also helping them out. Also, I hijacked their tweets about women in STEM careers and LGBT stuff too. And I plan on hijacking every single one of their tweets until I get an answer from them.

And you are right, it may seem immature, but at least I am not just sitting back saying, "well, they know what is best for me, I'll just let them continue to rape my wallet" when there is a solution that they explicitly removed just so they can do it (rape my wallet I mean).

I sometimes look at what is out there right now that i can work with versus something that i have to beg for and probably will never get. Have you thought of changing to the tmobile $30 plan with 5 gigs of data and 100 minutes? If you use a free voip plan and an android or iphone this could work.

Actually, I'm considering jumping to metropcs. 3 smartphones w/ 500mb high speed then throttled + unltd talk/txt for $90. Beats the $110 I'm paying now for 2 smart/1 regular and 700min .20/txt. They have some rebates if you bring your phone and number over. That would mostly offset my ETF. Right now my etf for 2 phones is sitting at $490. The only thing that is stopping me is the fact that I worry about t-mobile's network with my phone. I know it should work...but I went to a t-mo store, slapped on one of their lte Sims and got 2g signal. No Lte, when I know the coverage was there.
