Hi Friends,
My Lumia 720 fell in a bucket of water and is dead
As warrenty doesnt cover Liquid Damage, the Guy in the Nokia Care said that it would cost me around 8000/- INR to get it repaired
However He also gave me an option to sell the dead set to someone he knows in 5000/- INR so that he can use the parts which are not damaged to repair other sets

Now I used to store all kind of information in my Lumia, Financial, Personal etc.
I am concerned if I sell the phone will he be able to somehow get that info ?
Is the info in the phone is encrypted ?
I had a screen lock in the phone with password is it going to help safeguard my data ?

If you're concerned then I wouldn't sell it to the guy. It's possible the screen is totally dead and possibly the battery, but the main logic board *might* still work. You would only find that out by transplanting it into a donor phone (ie one that's got a dead/bricked logic board but working screen and battery. Which is most likely what they would do at Nokia Care anyway.
