I have to give my phone, a Samsung Ativ S to Samsung Customer Care.
Does "reset your phone" option in Settings > About screen, enough to delete all my personal contents? Contacts, pics, etc?
I haven't a memory card.

Yes, it's the only way to delete all your personal information from the phone at once without destroying the built-in memory. Not sure if they can "recover" the files from your phone, though... but chances are that they won't since the process of recovering the information is an extraneous step and corporations (and service centers) follow rather strict timelines.

Yups that is true if you are not using memory card your all phone data will be lost but before reset he will ask from you if you want get backup for your current data you can get the back as well and if you don't want it then don't check it and just restore your phone. Good Luck!

the data could be easily recovered because Hard Reset isnt as efficient as it should be
but dont worry, nobody cares about your information unless you are a celebrity or someone very famouse
:D

On an SD card I agree but please explain how it can be done on internal memory because we have regular questions of people who deleted pictures, by accident, and until now nobody could get these pictures back (from the internal memory).
