deleted the 5mp photo, retained the 30+mp file

I used Files app to delete the 5mp photo because I want to retain just one photo of each. I did and when I opened Camera roll, the photo doesn't appear anymore even if I retained the higher res. How can i make it visible again in may Camera roll

I don't think the high resolution images were ever viewable in the photo hub. What would be the point of a 34MP image on a 4.5" 720p screen, ya know?

If you connect your phone to your computer and open your phone folder you can rename your file. That or copy over all the 34mp files over to your hard drive and rename them. Make sure no high res is in the name.
The high resolution file will now show.
