I've recently purchased a L950, and loving it so far.

But.... I cannot seem to delete music from the music folder using the file explorer app.

I use another app called "metro file manager" to transfer music from my server to my phone via wifi to local storage not SD card.
I thought it was this app but I cannot delete files from the music folder with either the "metro FM" or the default "file explorer".
They will seem to delete ie they disappear, but if you go out of the folder or simply refresh they just reappear.

Cant try connecting direct to phone by cable as no cable came with the phone.

Is this a known bug. Is there a work around ?

Cheers

try getting a USB cable and connecting to pc and deleting from there
are the songs by any chance in onedrive?

Thanks for the reply.
Unfortunately I have no USB cable......Yet. As the person who sold me this, complete, as new phone . Sent it without the data cable.... doh (another story)

Although since yesterday I have found that if I restart the phone and then immediately delete with either "metro file manager" or even the default "file explorer" They do actually delete. So it seems as if something maybe accessing the music files in the background. (Just the same as any OS you cannot delete files if they are in use) Just need to work out what is accessing them.

Make sure OS and apps are up to date
They're not syncing anywhere, right? Like between your phone and pc?
