Denim first?

I'm not sure that it's necessary but I would think that it's definitely wiser. I'm personally waiting for Denim to hit the 1520 on AT&T before getting into the preview when it becomes available to higher end phones.

I wonder what the process would be if you installed W10 and then Denim + 8.1 popped up, OTA.

Can't remember what happened for Cyan. Think it made us reinstall 8.0 then we had to hop back on the Dev Preview and get 8.1 again?

Im just curious if it will make us go back to 8.1. Just an unnecessary chance of losing data. Hopefully Denim starts rolling out more these next couple weeks and most of us wont need to wonder what if. =D

So, Denim will not work with W10? That kinda stinks BC I am.looking forward to the faster camera and Hey Cortana....

Denim is independant of Windows 10.

You only need to be running Windows Phone 8.1 to be able to install Windows 10. The only thing that might be lacking in Windows 10 if you didn't have Denim are the improvements that Denim brings (faster camera, 4K video etc).

Thanks, but do u know if u can install Denim after installing W10?

No you can't.
When you go to extras+infos in W10 the area where the DENIM or CYAN or whatever was shown on W8.1 ,now is blank.
But when you press the ''i'' cycle button ,it redirects you to the denim web page, so I'm guessing that current W10
has it's foundations on 8.1 denim update.

Now I am more confused....

So, if I install w10 does Hey Cortana or Lumia camera work??

Lumia camera in W10 is the default camera.
I don't know about cortana, I live in Greece, cortana never came here :P

But W10 is to buggy in the current state, wait until it picks up more updates and then install it..
In other words if you think of it as an upgrade it clearly isn't in it's current state.
