Denim Impossible Update

All, the install gives me the dreaded error 818830F however I have never sign up for the DP program. The recovery tool tells me I have the latest software

I have done the SD card, language change,etc and still the install fails

Please any guidance

I you tried taking out both the SD card and SIM?

Also, which carrier are you using it on?

I am using it on AT&T . I only tried only the SD card removal

I had no problems updating my ATT 1520 on DP Sorry for you issues. Try the sim card removal..

So after a long day and night. If the error shows up it does not have anything to do with Developers Preview. Certain units will exhibit the error and it will be random in nature. The only way around the error is hard reset

That sucks. Luckily, restoring your phone after a hard reset doesn't take as long as it did in the WP7 days. Those were bad times.
