I have troble in updating my lumia 520 with wp 8.1 preview for developers. The update strucks on 0%. Give me any suggestions please.

Did a hard reset twice today. I got the lining bolt with the gears randomly. I really hope these issues are sorted, sick of hard resetting and having to re-download everything.

Anyone else having their Micro SD Card corrupting all the time needing scanning to fix?

I have an L625 and the gf has a 520, both of them running 8.1 preview, and both of them lose things on the MicroSD Card, or complain they need to scan and fix the card

Just today I had no option than to put the cards into the PC and scan and fix them on there, which seemed to take an extremely long time, luckily it fixed them

2 different makes of SD Cards too, so not likely to be a defective card

Anyone having problem with the IE scrolling? For me it jumps sometimes, the page when scrolling up or down.

When I hold the back button to enter multitasking view there are black rectangles instead of preview images of the open apps. When I restart the phone it is okay for some time and after some hours it happens again.
I tried resetting the phone to factory settings and the problem disappeared for some weeks, but it returned back.
My phone is Lumia 820 with WP 8.1 DP.

Hi,
I recently did a Cortana search and opened on a YouTube video. It played, then I pressed the back button to return to the search results, but nothing happened. The same if I pressed the home button, they did vibrate. So I locked the screen, and where the clock of my glance screen should appear, there where only some gray pixels with other colors in it. The same happened when I pressed the power button, but for the whole screen.
I did a soft reset and everything is just normal again.
Has someone experienced the same problem?
Ow yeah, my phone is a Lumia 620.
So as I said I 'solved' the problem, but I like to know if there's a WP8.1 feedback site/forum or something like that.

@Pouknouki, I should wait till the official firmware(Lumia cyan) of your phone will be released.

Nokia lumia 625, dev. pre. 8.1. Sometime lose titles picture(not background picture) and name on titles, when unlock or use storage sense, wpcentral app... when i scroling down-up, on start screen. On wp 8, I did not have these problems

Bug: Calendar does not always use regional (format) settings.

Nokia 925, Windows Phone 8.10.12397.895
Calendar v 1.0.14127.247

Regional settings are as follows:
- Country/Region: United States (for Cortana to work)
- Regional format: Dutch (Netherlands)

My lock screen, clock and other apps show a 24 hour time format and a dd-mm-yyyy date format (eg. 11-07-2014, today). The Calendar however is a bit iffy. Creating a new calendar appointment gives me the date in mm-dd-yyyy format (07-11-2014) and the time in AM/PM format. Tasks however do show the (expected) dd-mm-yyyy format. Workaround is just to think logically, however I would much prefer to see the same behaviour everywhere

IE11 is not hiding the URL bar like I've seen in the videos highlighting the updates in the newest browser version.

I thought it just didn't go full screen but now that I saw it actually does I'm disappointed I'm having this issue because I really wanted full screen.

Anyone else having this problem?

From yesterday I have been facing an issue like when I press power button for first time to unlock phone it takes 4-5 seconds extra to wake up. Plus battery drain is still a issue and asphalt 8 and FIFA 14 games lag.

What to do ? Any suggestions or will cyan solve it?

Cyan is a myth, there won't be such thing endless 8.1 DP..

I had the same issue. What i did was either soft reset, or just waiting a couple of seconds.

Same thing happens to me very frequently...all the apps installed in my sd card lose their app images both on the start screen and app list for some time. Usually happens after I install some apps or browse the net for some time. When I do a soft reset or simply restart the phone it says sd card is corrupt and asks to fix it. Usually this fixes the problem but sometimes I just delete the recently installed two/three apps and it works too...dunno what the problem is but hope MS fixes it.

Same here... For card problem once i scanned it in my phone and now never says that again

If a contact calls or texts me from a number I don't have stored for that contact, I'm having a weird issue adding that number to the stored contact data. I touch the number, and press the save icon. Then the options appear to create a new contact or associate the number with a stored contact. I then select the stored contact, and associate the new number with the device type (mobile 2, home etc...). But when I click on Save, the contact vanishes from my phones contacts list altogether. The number is still stored in my text history or call history as just the number, and has not been associated with a contact.

I haven't found a fix. The contact is just gone from my phone. However, if I open Outlook on my tablet, the contact does still exist, so the issue isn't pulling/removing contacts from my account. If I then add the number to the contact in Outlook and Save this, my phone contacts list updates, restoring the contact details and associating the new number with that contact.

Sorry if the above has been covered elsewhere. I've looked but couldn't find anything. Any help/forwards appreciated.

Hey guys!

I recently updated to 8.1 developer preview on my 1020 (1 month ago) and this week I ran into some problems with several apps:

First up is the music app. I downloaded the latest update and after that I discovered how full albums were entirely replaced by 30 second samples. This affected basically most of the tracks I had purchased through the xbox music store and NOT the ones transferred from the PC to the phone. Also why is all of sudden album art disappearing and being all black instead?

Last but not least, 6snap can't connect to the servers at all. I thought there was something wrong with my account so I logged out and tried to log in again but it wouldn't let me connect. Anybody else having this problem?

I really appreciate if someone would give me some answers!

Just yesterday: looking at venue info in the maps app. Tried to get to Here Drive by hitting 'directions'. Nothing. I could start Drive via the start screen though. It required a device restart to enable directions again.
