HTC 8x

- Selecting Internet Explorer advanced settings automatically kicks you back to previous page (browser pane). When selected from settings -> applications, it crashes back to settings list. Tried multiple resets and reset without backups
- Reading view shows blank screen on all websites tested(bbc.co.uk, arstechnica.com, guardian.co.uk)

Appreciate if a fellow 8x owner can test and confirm...

Works fine on a 928 on Verizon.

This seems to be a HTC problem. But thanks anyway.

Mine l820 crashes while using new ie youtube (windowed video not full-screen) playing a video in background and then scrolling to the comment section will make the screen crash (the phone works but the screen doesn't show the inputs (start search) ) and when I lock on the screen it shows something like the no signal image on the old analogic TV's.maybe it's only YouTube or my phone but I wanted to report it

I've also been having this problem. Not sure if it's directly related to wifi timeout issue, or if it's a separate bug caused by the device "going to sleep". Is your wifi turning off also?

It had a weird issue where it wouldn't connect to a known network and in the WIFI menu, it just said "Turn Wifi back on in an hour". I restarted the phone and wifi worked.
lemme try staying off wifi for a bit.

Honestly, I never expected that to work...Sprint barely got that working in 8.0...no way it was gonna make the transition to 8.1 without work on their side...that's the price of the Preview I'm afraid.

Alright my SD card was now detected and I'm happy to say there are no other bugs for the moment. So I take back what I said earlier, install it!!

No way to remove Sample Photos they are not in the Sample Photo Folder

I found one bug on camera app. When I try to go back using the back button from foto to camera, the screen is black. I have to use the back buton and then start again the camera app. Also the light when I use to make a video is to low.

If it's trying to sync it will get stubborn like that. Put the phone in airplane mode and restart the phone. make sure the phone is still in airplane mode before attempting to fix your gmail.

There's an error when playing back a youtube video, and then try to swipe to go back. Had to restart my L920.

We only have Weather, Domino's and Twitter in common...I've uninstalled Weather & Domino's...

I think it's because the store is unvailable and some app-s cannot update to compatible versions for wp 8.1
e.g. if you want to open nokia here map you get a message to update the app before you can use it in wp 8.1 (sorry for my bad grammar)

Figured it out..had VPN on.

Another issue..can't setup outlook anymore..says I have a Microsoft account on the phone with same name..this is bad..won't syn calendar or emails.
