Anyone had any issues with Cortana today? Questions that require online lookup (like how's traffic on the way home, what's the weather like tomorrow, etc) seem to be defaulting to web searches. Funny thing is she looks to answer my question for a split second (the circle moves to the top right) and then it flicks away to Bing search.

Offline requests like setting reminders work fine, leading me to think it may be a service issue. My internet connection is fine and I have rebooted my phone.

Wmpoweruser reported an update for the games hub but after installing, it made all my games invisible from the hub ,now it's totally useless. Dont install!

I have the same issue too..after updating yesterday. Games hub just wont refresh.

i have problems in facebook contacts integration in people's hub since day before yesterday after installing dev preview for 8.1.....it is continuously giving the message 'we're unable to sync at the moment please try again later'....anybody else facing this issue?? i am from india and using a lumia 520 and cortana is working fine after changing fone region

Had same issue, FB wont sync at all, even on Wifi so i uninstalled the app, re-installed it and synced again on wifi. after 2 failures, it synced up and has been doing so smoothly ever since.

I also was having this issue but after continuously trying for 1hr i got it to sync properly.
But i am not getting notification in action centre all i get i just push notification from facebook app.
Any one having this issue??

I uninstalled and re-installed the Facebook app after facing the sync/ notification issue. Try that. Or maybe the Facebook Beta app, in case it helps?

not able to download over my data..is there any way..don't have any wifi... ???

If its 3g, then your user data should download. If not, try to find a public hotspot and connect and download it. Or use a friend's wifi. But remember, its quite a huge amount of data.

I always get error navigation not available for your region yesterday after reinstalling app it was okay but today it again started giving me error

Ok so I have a weird problem. Before updating, all the media shared via Whatsapp was being stored in a folder called Whatsapp in Pictures folder. SInce updating to windows 8.1, i see another folder pop up, called Other Pictures, with whatsapp pics shared and i cant find it on the memory card anywhere. Anyone having same problem?

Am I the only one who does not have access in Settings to Battery Saver? All other options in Settings seem to work normally including the Nokia Black introduced extras, but the Battery Saver only shows under the title of it the word "extended battery life, XX% battery left". Pushing that appears to be registered (the title moves "down" and comes up again), but the actual app doesn't open.

Soft reset doesn't work. Please don't tell me that the only way forward is hard reset! Any workarounds? For record, I am using the 1020.

Hmm noticed that the keyboard won't sometimes suggest saving a new word to the dictionary. So some words remains unknown to the keyboard. Anyone else seen this?

Games now wont list my collections after an update today, version is 2.0.1404.11000

On battery saver: I have now also tried to ask Cortana to "open battery saver" and she tried. The phone is now opening battery saver settings from Cortana since five minutes, and only the five dots keep moving under the logo of the app to be opened. Even if it looks like I am not lucky, it could work for the rest who have had issues

Lumia 920 and Lumia 1020, installed WP Dev Preview 8.1 yesterday
I have more than 2.000 contacts and I can not find anything.
I can see and scroll the contact list but when I make a search... "No results" even the most simple and basic name search.
Please Heeeelp!!!

Updated my Nokia 1520 to Windows 8.1
since then.......

Vibrate- Vibrating mode doesn't work at all........is this normal?





Also downloaded HARDWARE TEST App still does not work.

Yea, me too... Did soft reset and hard reset and its still the same. Maxthon works great, btw. I will try one more hard reset, god damnit.

Its me again, last night i did hard reset again and its all the same. ie wont work on mobile data so i suspect it has something to do with your native PC and ie settings on it. i am at work now and cant try it but if anyone with same dns error on IE11 could give this a try i would be thankfull. so, just do things like this link says and please report back with quote, thx in advance.

I'm curious, has anyone had any luck contacting Nokia and/or T-Mobile regarding WP8.1 officially coming to the 810? Nokia stated that ALL of their WP8 devices would get them, just not sure if that includes EOL devices like our 810's or 820/822 devices still out there.
