Everything were going awesome, but at morning my phone started to freeze, many Apps crashed and these weird "apps" appeared in the App list.



I tried to fix it by restarting and by soft reset, but nothing worked I had to do a Hard Reset. Now everything seems to be ok.

I upgraded my black 920 to 8.1 when it was released on Monday. Today when I got to work (4:30pm) I pulled my phone out to check it and I could not turn the screen on. Hardware buttons at the bottom and sides also were not working. 20 minuets later I checked it again, and found the flash going off every second or so, this kept up for about three hours until the battery died. When I got to my car to leave tonight I plugged it in, the nokia splash came up and the icon showing the phone was charging appeared, ten minuets later the screen blacked out again. When I got home I put it back to charge, same as before nokia splash and then charge icon. I'm waiting for the os to boot right now.

::Update::
After a few minuets the os booted up no problem, like it never even happened...except for the 4,000 pictures it took for seemingly no reason.

The power button is very intermittent on my Icon. Some times it wakes right up, some times it takes several seconda and sometimes i hold it so long the phone reboots ;-/ other than that I have the unusualy weak WiFi signal when it used to be full stregth. I am now doing a hard reset and will see how it goes

yes, if the toggle is ON or connected, one tap and it will direct you to the wifi settings to show you the details of the connection or the available networks, if the toggle is off, one tap will turn it ON.

Anybody having trouble with their wifi? I am getting no internet access when I try to connect to my Wi-Fi. Rebooted the router and phone and it worked for awhile but issue came back

My Game Hub now does not shows any games in the collection. The error message is "Couldn't open that. Try again."

I tried sot reset by Power button and volume down. Game hub still does not shows the game in the collection. Rebooting also does not work.

Yes...read back a few pages...wifi connections to secured networks are causing issues for some (many), but not all. Open networks don't seem to be an issue. I have to turn wifi off at work and just use the data connection, otherwise it locks up, and won't wake up (or very slowly if at all). Disable wifi, or open up your network if you can.

I had similar problem (I was scared ) , I checked back after 2-3 hour and now its working

Have you tried shutting off WiFi for the power button wake up issue? Worked for me. And btw, I'm still working on my Gmail sync issues. Seems to sync, but I keep getting a pop up alert telling me otherwise. Getting the mail tho.

On your phone go to Gmail advanced settings and change calendar server to www.google.com
If does not help, disable ccalendar syncing. Should solve the problem.

I always get error navigation not available for your region yesterday after reinstalling app it was okay but today it again started giving me error

yes I am from India (you can tell that by my user name ) :wink:
here drive + was preinstalled on my device ( I have a Lumia 920 ) and I got a update for it recently.

Will this issue is due to i have l520 and during launching of l520 and l720 they told here drive+ will not be available for l520 and l720
.

Search for here drive+ it might be available

Is your l520 having 8.1 cause ms told after 8.1 here drive+ will be available for all.

After the hard rese on my Lumia Icon my Wifi indicator is again showing full strength.

However i had to reinstall Here Drive+ and Nokia Camera, Here Maps and a few other apps. I left Weather(bing) uninstalled and will see if the delay on the power button is gone

When i updated my 920 there is a background task setting on my internet explorer. But i perform a hard reset because my phone stutters a lot and my battery life is draining really fast. Now the background setting on my explorer is gone. When i check battery saver the usage on internet explorer keeps growing.

Thank god its not just me. Same problem here. Apparently it was working fine earlier, then yesterday it got an update and hasnt been working since then.

​BTW a Lumia 925 here.
