*launching an app was fast and consider an improvement but closing it and launching the start screen again always becomes laggy.
*notification on glance screen are not working nor updating.
--I'm a lumia 720 owner.

Album artwork isn't working correctly on the new Nokia Music. lol. Anyone else having this issue?

Me too.. Album art does not work in the default Music.

Nokia Lumia 1520. LTE and Wi-Fi connection was great prior to the 8.1 upgrade. Now my LTE fluctuates often and never locks down on a strong LTE connection. Wi-Fi also is weak and sometimes drops connection. Before the upgrade, all these connections were strong and stable.

When pressing WiFi in notification center, it directs me to the WiFi settings. Is this how it supposed tot be?

Gmail still having problems, not syncing properly. Power button does not wake.up the phone.

Should I attempt the hard reset?

Lumina 820 with 32 GB SD.
In the podcast app, when it lists all of the episodes for a particular podcast with "showing all" and I then select "showing downloaded", it appears to work fine. But if I exit and go back into the podcast list, it has changed back to "showing all" - which includes downloaded and streaming. Wish it would remember the setting.

Have you tried shutting off WiFi for the power button wake up issue? Worked for me. And btw, I'm still working on my Gmail sync issues. Seems to sync, but I keep getting a pop up alert telling me otherwise. Getting the mail tho.

I don't really know If I am the only one experiencing this but just today I tried playing music on speakers and for some reason the music app when it automatically switches music there seems to be a split second noise before the next song plays. It sounds more like a cut sound. I hope they fix this on the next update.

Have you tried shutting off WiFi for the power button wake up issue? Worked for me. And btw, I'm still working on my Gmail sync issues. Seems to sync, but I keep getting a pop up alert telling me otherwise. Getting the mail tho.

For all the people gettin the 803... etc error with gmail. This has something to do syncing the google calendar settings. There are 2 "fixes".
First is just to disable the calendar sync. But found a better method: just go into ur googlemail settings, hit the advanced button and then under caldav (calendar...), change the apigoogle...com to www.google.com

Et voila, the sync error message is gone. And it keeps on syncing the calendar.

I own a Lumia 822 and when I transferred all my apps to SD card all my apps can't be used? Anyone have the same problem? Has anyone have a way to fix it that is not hard resetting the phone?

pressing and holding a news topic and then selecting delete does not remove that item from Cortana.

after upgrade the 8.1, i cant use the cangjie input anymore (chinese input)
anyone have this problem
so i tried to hard reset my device, no luck
but i found after twice hard reset, no lag anymore :evil:

hi. i updated lumia 720 and working fine without any issues.
my brother updated his lumia 520 and after update he is not able to connect to any secured wifi connection. connection status says connected to wifi name and secure.
if the network is made open, he is able to connect and use internet without any issues.
any resolution to this problem?

Didn't notice this thread before I opened a thread detailing the bug that I've encountered. I'll just paste the contents here

Before upgrading, the message tone is set to Song-A.
Song-A will obviously be used for
a) SMS
b) USSD messages (messages that you get when you dial some magic codes using phone app. eg : *123#)
c) Some other special messages that operators/banks sent (messages that won't appear in message threads).

After upgrading, I've noticed the following:
1. The entire Song-A will be played in FULL for USSD and special messages.
2. There's no way to change the tone for USSD and special messages. Changing the tone for messaging app does not change the tone for USSD and special messages. Changing Phone app tone does not change the tone for USSD and special messages as well.
3. SMS tone can be changed via action center but now it only plays for like 5 seconds? IIRC, it plays for around10 seconds previously?

Anyone experiencing the same problem? I've tried it on two phones (both Lumia 820) and the results are the same.
I've even tried changing the tone for every single app in the action center. Still cant change the tone for USSD and special messages

Me too.. Album art does not work in the default Music.

i have windows 8 and i think its normal for that to happen because when there is no album art the software uses the icon image as the album art.
