Developer Preview 8.1

Anyone planning to run the developers preview when it's launched "later this month"? I'm considering it, but I'm a little worried about what would happen if I ran into any problems while running it. What does everyone else think and hopefully we can update this with impressions when it comes out.

Absolutely, right away when it's launched. We have NSU for Retail if anything goes wrong

back-up your phone, if you run into problems reflash to the GDR3/Black and restore content from back-up, granted not everything will be backed up and recovery will require some work

we still have to wait one more week before we get the Dev preview into our WP devices! I hardly can wait!

I have a 520 that is just kicking around I will be trying it on immediately. But my 928 has to work, so will definitely give it a couple days. Especially with it being a CDMA/Verizon one-off, essentially.
