Once I updated my lumia 525 to w10m build .63 then i used the device recovery tool to come back to wp8.1 but i got wp8 from that . Can it possible?

Obvious, Windows 8 was the fabric os for that phone. Check settings -> Updates and you'll will download 8.1 update
Windows Dewvice Recovery gives the original fabric build always
