Difficulty with factory reset htc 8x?

hi i did a factory reset but when the phone finished it didnt ask me for restore apps option. what can i do to restore all my previous installed apps and games ?
i tried again and again but it just opens as new

What version of OS were you at when you reset? Update to that version then restore. Did you have backup working?

I have done with my 822 and my wife's 8X. Hope you get there.

i have the windows 8 . didnt do any updates ( didnt have any) i have backup working and before i do the reset it said last back up 13 hours ago...
