it would be cool if the next firmware would let the redfly 'read' a digital camera's memory so u can pull pictures off of the camera. this would really mean i no longer have to carry the laptop.....

Some digital cameras show up as a USB drive, those should work with the 'FLY.

It can get pics off of a memory card. It's just a matter of getting the right USB car reader.

I have found that you can plug a multi card reader into the 'Fly's USB port and it will read it, but if you have one of those readers that show up as several drives it's agonizingly slow. Better to get a single card reader like one of those that turn a memory card into a flash drive. Works like a champ!

I use mine with an 8 GB micro SD card and a Sandisk Miro card reader. If your camera uses SD cards, just use a Micro SD adapter.

i see, yeah i have a Sony with their unique memory cards so i just havee to find an adapter for that i guess

Believe it or not, card readers that turn Sony memory sticks into thumb drives are not that uncommon. I had one when I had a Sony PDA.

yeah, i found one at best buy...LOL, not that uncommon
