Surface RT 32-bit. upgraded to 8.1RT.

If I take my surface rt out of my home, how far away can I go before the tablet ceases to function, such as emailing, surfing the net etc.

As far as your router supports. If It's on LTE, then you'd have to go pretty rural to lose connection.
