If your talking to me, I didn't read every single "my calendars broken also " post. My calendars not even broken, just hoping to make a maybe helpful suggestion. So you pissed because your calendars broken or you just always rude?

Sorry if I came across as rude, but there was only three pages of comments, not 20... But in any case, sorry if I caused offense.

Not a problem. Everyone's kind of on edge over this. After seeing your post I read the previous page and did indeed see a reference to 3rd party calendars not working. Just something I missed. Glad to hear its been pulled from the store.

I'm on 8.1 and mine didn't auto update. This is a store option/function, No?

Nope. I was too late with my 925 because it had automatically updated. I never visited the store to update the app. Then, after I read this thread earlier, I booted my Lumia 810 that was sitting in the drawer to my left and checked my downloads. Luckily, another app was in the middle of updating and Calendar was sitting at "Pending." I quickly cancelled that one.

Maybe disable the auto update feature? I prefer to install when I'm ready not as soon as its rolled out neccesarily. I'd have the broken calendar on my icon otherwise.😉

Damage limitation so more people on 8.1 don't get the broken version until they can publish a fixed version.

MS should change the auto-update feature to only auto install one day after an update is made available, unless it's marked 'urgent' or something. That way the enthusiasts get to do a 'final test' before releasing it to the masses.

I think you mean "yes". There is an option to turn on or off the auto updates. I had mine turned on and my calendar is broken. I use my calendar on a daily basis. Since this huge error, I've turned auto updates off.

Joe belfiore has posted in twitter that the fix is coming today in a bit of time
That's not what he said, he said the fix is ready but it may take a bit of time to appear in Store.
Microsoft's idea of a bit of time and everyone else's idea of a bit of time are often very different.
