Do you feel the live lockscreen app is over hyped ?

I don't want to sound rude or anything, but after it is just a lock screen. I wasn't sure what people were expecting once it hit the store. It still would do everything,your usual lock screen does but most likely in a fancier way.

Besides I have to say this is the very first beta. Like many betas out there (BBM*cough*), especially in their first releases, there are simply bugs and problems. On my 1020 I have to say animations could be more,fluid, also my device suffered a 20% battery drain while being in airplane mode this night, usually it shouldn't be more than 5%. Is it related to the new lock screen beta? I don't know, I have to keep an eye on that.
After all like with many fancy this, people get bored quickly with them. Today the animations look nice, next week most likely some people won't care anymore and revert back to the more static, yet more performance friendly default static lockscreen.

I love the function, and will love it more when there are more options, however right now I'm hating the quality. It's not beta quality, it's more like Alpha quality. I think I've seen the default orange stripe background more than the live lockscreen since installing it, as it doesn't work during quiet hours, car mode or when listening to Xbox Music!

It's a nice app, but I think it makes a too big impact on the phones resources (or it feels like it). But since it's a beta version, it's to be expected I guess. Looking forward to the final version.
