does anyone else have to restart their surface as many times a week as I do?

I have to constantly press the power button and volume button on the top of the surface to do a manual reset of my new lap top, every since the newest upgrade to windows 10! does anyone else have this issue? along with their keyboard not working and having to reset the surface? I have the grey removable soft key board.

I hardly ever restart the surface.

I guess you're talking about a 'hard' reset - i.e. forced. I never do that, well maybe once or twice a year if there's a problem. I do however switch my Surface off at the end of each day.
